IV Measurements Settings
Many possible configurations to measure voltage and current are possible. For example, an oscilloscope with fours probes or an all-in-one measurement unit like the AMCAD PIV system (for more information visit : http://www.amcad-enginnering.com). Therefore, it is possible to configure separate instruments for the voltage and the current measurements or configure common settings if the voltage/current measurements are linked to one instrument. In the same way, it is also possible to configure the same instrument to measure both the input/output voltages/currents.
- Linked IV: checking this box, IQSTAR assumes that the voltage and the
current measurements will be done by the same instrument, as shown on the left side
of the picture below. On the contrary, unchecking this box, IQSTAR assumes that the
voltage and the current measurements will be done by two separate instruments, as
shown on the right side of the picture below :
- Same instrument for input and output: checking this box, IQSTAR
assumes that the same instrument is used to measure the voltages and the currents
at the input and output such as the AMCAD PIV system, as shown below:
