RF Source Controller

The RF source controller tool is used to control the RF sources defined in the setup, once the bench is initialized. It is accessible from the icon or from the shortcut located in Measurement > Hardware Control and once the bench is initialized.



Once the bench is initialized, RF Source can be selected if two RF sources are defined in the setup.



Then different mode can be choosen depending on the RF source capabilities:
  • 1-tone:
    • Set frequency.
    • Set power level.
    • Press on to apply settings and to turn on RF or to turn off RF.

  • 2-tones:
    • Set central frequency (f0).
    • Set tones spacing (f2-f1).
    • Set power level at f1 and f2.
    • Press on to apply settings and to turn on RF or to turn off RF.

  • Modulated:
    • Set central frequency (f0).
    • Set power level
    • Define waveform form From Waveform Generator or Waveform file.
    • Define the sampling rate
    • Press on to upload the waveform in the RF source then to apply settings and to turn on RF or to turn off RF.

Note: Internal VNA RF sources are not supported in this tool.
