Input Coupler
Input Coupler is used to define the maximum loss of the coupled path in order to compute the appropriated value of the input attenuator to add between the couplers and the VNA receivers.
When clicking on the “Input coupler”, the following menu appears on the right side of the schematic editor:
- Coupled Path: set the coupled path loss in dB or enter an *.S2P file in order to either extract automatically the maximum loss (max(abs(20*log10(S21))) or select the loss at a specific frequency by selecting 'Freq' and entering the frequency value.
- Isolated Path: set the isolated path loss in dB or enter an *.S2P
file in order to either extract automatically the maximum loss
(max(abs(20*log10(S11))) or select the loss at a specific frequency
by selecting 'Freq' and entering the frequency value Note: Click on the icon or select a file included in the Files manager of IQSTAR through the icon. *.S2P file can be plotted using the icon.
