DUT
DUT is used to define its maximum specifications (Gain, Power, IRL) expected in order to compute the appropriate values of the attenuator to add between the couplers and the VNA receivers.
When clicking on “DUT” , the following menu appears on the right side of the schematic editor:
- Pout max: set the maximum output power
- Gain max: set the maximum transducer gain
- IRL max: set the maximum input return loss
- Clicking on the S-parameters check-box allows to enter a DUT *.S2P file in order
to either extract automatically the maximum gain (max(abs(20*log10(S21)))
and the maximum IRL (max(abs(20*log10(S11))) or to select a gain and IRL
at a specific frequency by selecting 'Freq' and entering the frequency
valueNote: Click on the
icon or select a file included in the Files manager of IQSTAR through the
icon. *.S2P file can be plotted using the
icon.
