Modulation Measurements
Overview
Modulation measurement tab allows DUT characterization under modulated signals. Different parameters can be measured (ACPR, EVM, CCDF, PAPR etc). The Spectrum Analyzer or VSA used in the setup needs to have all required software options to extract modulated signal related parameters. IQSTAR fetches these parameters directly from the instrument.
Requirements
Available measurement types are linked to the Schematic
configuration and to selected Calibrations. In order to get
access to Modulated measurement, the following conditions must be respected:
- Two (2) or three (3) Power Meters, RF Source and Vector Signal Analyzer need to be enabled in the Schematic
- Scalar Calibration needs to be enabled
To run modulated measurements, the bench must be correctly set and calibrated. Once these
steps are done, it's possible to initialize the system (
