Identification current status

While the identification is running, a window appears. This window shows the current status of the identification. Different parameters are displayed depending on the identification method and the order (automatic, manual).

  • SISO/Automatic:
    • ID X/Y: number of identifications finished X of a total of Y identifications.
    • It M/N: number of iterations. SISO method will always do 15 iterations by default for each order and each parameter, e.g., in a parametric analysis of Y = 5 parameters there will be a maximum number of iterations N = 5x15 = 75.
    • Order: current identification is processing the order 20.
    • Last ϕ error: maximum phase error of the previous identification. From the figure below, 0.402 is the maximum phase error of the identification @ order 22 (SISO method performs only even orders). This value will be smaller than the phase tolerance value at the end of the identification process.

  • DACWIN/Automatic:
    • ID X/Y: number of identifications finished X of a total of Y identifications.
    • Sub-band: the DACWIN method divides the frequency band in smaller sub-bands. Here, which is the current sub-band under identification is shown.
    • It M/N: number of iterations. By default, DACWIN method performs a maximum of 10 iterations in each sub-band (automatic order) or band (manual order).
    • Order: current order of the identification function.
    • Last ϕ error: maximum phase error of the previous identification. From the figure below, 1.171 is the maximum phase error of the identification @ order 4. This value will be smaller than the phase tolerance value at the end of the identification process.

  • SISO and DACWIN/Manual:
    • ID X/Y: number of identifications finished X of a total of Y identifications.
    • It M/N: number of iterations.
