Warning messages during the identification process
STAN Tool will warn the user when the simulated transfer function H0(jωS) presents some of the following characteristics:
SISO method :
- The variation range of the magnitude of the frequency response is excessive
- The algorithm cannot achieve the phase tolerance value.
- Only mathematical poles are detected during the identification process.
- Numerical noise: risk of overmodeling, relax the phase tolerance.
- In extremely noisy frequency responses, the DACWIN method may try to continue the division in smaller sub-bands to infinity. The warning message is: “Maximum phase tolerance used. Your original curves might be too noisy to be identified. Please use manual order to avoid any identification problem.”
SISO/DACWIN method:
- Phase tolerance value at the end of the identification when using the advanced
option Sensitivity Policy ==> Release Tolerance Once
