Performance

Description : Global system performances are signals at input ports to DesignController block. Existence of global system performances is not mandatory; they are strictly necessary for carrying Optimization analysis, since an objective function must be defined in terms of global performances. In same way statistical analysis results are better expressed in terms of global performances.

There are two types of performance: waveform performance and band-power performance.
- Waveformperformance is any signal in CW simulation mode, and any regular time varying signal Transient simulation mode. A waveform performance port can be connected to any node in the system circuit
- Band-power performance is a time-average signal; examples are: total power of a channel, IMD ratio or ACPR. A band-power performance must be connected to a special band_power_probe output.
For visual distinction, the label of a waveform performance is terminated by "wp" and that of a band-power performance by "bp"
