Obtaining a frequency response H₀ (jω_s)

The frequency response H₀(jω_S) corresponds to the circuit linearization about its steady-state solution under the influence of a perturbation signal and is obtained in the given frequency bandwidth. A small-signal current source plays the role of the perturbation and will be connected to a circuit’s sensitive node, i.e., near the active device. The frequency response H₀(jω_s) is then obtained as the ratio between the node voltage and the current in the perturbation branch.

Two analyses are possible:

• Large-signal stability analysis
