MIX-U-HF model
Unilateral type model: ie that it does not implement Ohm's law and considers that the load impedance is constant and equal to 50 ohms.
Model with high frequency memory: ie that it considers only the frequency dispersion caused in the operating band of the mixer; it ignores the dispersion caused by long-term phenomena such as self-polarization or self-heating effects.
The LO Power is fixed, only OL phase and frequency variations are taken into account.
Mathematical description.
The general equation of the model is:
The extraction process consists of identifying the kernel H, then calculating a function of approximation in power (by Splines) and in frequency ("Polynomial function" or "Poles and Residues").

Identification principle.
The general principle mentioned below is to obtain the AMAM and AMPM conversion characteristic on the frequency band considered (input (RF or IF) and OL) and the power dynamics considered (input (RF or IF)). Three variable parameters have to be considered in the characterizations, namely, the input power Pin, the input frequency End and the frequency of OL Fol. The OL level is kept constant at the nominal value. Because the AMPM characteristic of a mixer is usually difficult to acquire, it can be ignored. The error is usually not critical.

This model considers the high frequency memory of the device, the noise possibly present on the OL signal is reported at the output of the device.
