Waveform

Waveform – Block used in order to capture signal waveform defined in simulation time.

The input pins 1 :

  • [1] : Input port for temporal waveform.

User can add until 10 inputs thanks the number of channels field in the following dialog box.

  • Probe name : the name which appears in output results window.
  • Result Display : format of the data. In order to perform the demodulation the schema and modulation type must be filled here. User can choose between :

    • Real and Imaginary.
    • Magnitude and Phase
    • dB20 and Phase - When signal X is defined in sqrt(mW) : P = 20*log10(X).
    • dBm (Voltage wave) - When signal X is defined in Volts : P = 10*log10(X^2/(2*Z0)) +30
    • dBm (A power wave) - When signal is defined in sqrt(Watts) : P = 10*log10(X^2)) +30
  • Phase unit : degree or Radian
  • Label : one label can be defined.
